MY STORY

I'm so excited to share with you my business, Mindful Sips. Let me preface this by saying that back in February of 2023, I decided to bid farewell to alcohol. I kept this private, only sharing it with close friends and family because I didn't feel it was a big deal. For me, it simply made sense to align with my fitness goals and overall health needs. I was also sick and tired of hangovers and well, being tired!

 

As I began to have social events out with my husband or friends, I noticed that options for non-alcoholic alternatives, other than soda and water, were limited. I started exploring various options at home, from non-alcoholic beers and wines to even some spirits to create mocktails. There's actually a whole other world to explore when you're alcohol-free.

 

As I ventured out to breweries to enjoy music or dined at restaurants, I gradually noticed more places offering "fun" alternatives for those who want to socialize sans alcohol. Now that I've shared that with you, my mind started racing with ideas on how I could convey that it's perfectly OKAY to be sober, sober-curious, dry, California sober, or whatever your preference. It's absolutely fine not to want to experience the effects of alcohol, but still enjoy the tastes and flavors they have.
